The Kate Upton diet consists of 5 small meals throughout the day. Kate Upton uses celebrity trainer David Kirsch to plan her meals. David Kirsch is a famous New York celebrity trainer and dietician. He is also responsible for the workout and diet of stars like Heidi Klum, Kate Upton and Kerry Washington.

Kate Upton’s body is the result of a strict diet and rigorous workout schedule. The Kate Upton diet plan, created by David Kirsch, includes the following:

  • Consists of a five, small meal, diet plan.
  • One meal every three hours.
  • Breakfast: Egg whites w/ spinach
  • Snack- Thermo Bubbles, Super Greens, kiwi, apples, pears, or a protein shake
  • Lunch: 4 oz. chicken over leafy greens
  • Quinoa-It’s the “Most Amazing Carbohydrate,” according to her dietician, David Kirsch
  • Snack-Nuts, seeds, Thermo Bubbles, Super Greens and/or a protein bar
  • Dinner: Salmon or Chicken (Upton can also have any protein that “swims, but wild only”)
  • Asparagus (“the ultimate diuretic” – which removes bloating from your body)

The Kate Upon diet also takes advantage of cleanses and special supplements. Her trainer, David Kirsch, has a whole line of products available to the public. Kate Upton is a big fan of the 48 hour cleanse, which she uses before a photo shoot.

Kate Upton Weight Loss Rules

Kate Upton weight loss rules include limiting carbohydrates. She also stays away from the ABC’s (below). This doesn’t mean that all carbs are bad. Quite the contrary. But, there are some set-in-stone weight loss tricks that you must follow to lose weight.

Our body is so good at storing fat, that you can’t break any of the following rules. Doing so invites the fat-storing mechanisms of the body to go into full-swing. A few rules to follow on the Kate Upton diet:

  • No Alcohol
  • No Bread
  • No Processed Carbs like sugar or pasta (a couple examples of processed carbohydrates, but processed carbs are any carbohydrate that doesn’t grow in the ground–like fruits and vegetables.)

An easy way to remember them: Follow the ABC’s (no Alcohol, no Bread, no processed Carbs). Staying away from these foods is the most important aspect of Kate Upton’s diet and weight loss.

The Problem With Pasta

The problem with pasta is that it’s delicious. But, pasta is also filled with gluten, a nasty protein that affects many more people than we realize. Gluten is something that models avoid like the plague because it causes bloating. Until recently, this is just something that models have to avoid.

So, how does a model get her pasta these days? According to Kate Upton’s dietician, Kate Upton eats Quinoa or Black Bean pasta to avoid gluten. (These foods remove the bloat from gluten, which is what regular pasta has.)

I don’t have her on a specific gluten free, but by the nature of what she eats it is gluten free.

David Kirsch says a gluten-free diet is working for his daughters, too:

I have both my daughters on gluten-free diets and you can see the difference. They are only four years old and it definitely changes their mood. You can see that for sure.

When we started in August, she started out with the 48 Hour Super Charged cleanse, then moved onto the 5 Day Ultimate Detox. Leading up to the shoot in December, she did the 7 Day Cleanse a couple of times.
