The Insanity Workout works by taking advantage of “Max Interval Training”. Here, you perform HIIT High Intensity Interval Training for long bursts. Most HIIT workouts involve short bursts of intensity followed by longer rest periods.
The Insanity workout turns this notion on it’s head. What makes the Insanity Workout so crazy, is that you’re performing max intervals of high intensity training for longer periods of time. This will push you to your limit!
The Insanity Workout is the exact opposite of traditional cardio workouts. You can burn up to 1000 calories, using the Max Interval Training method.
