Eva Longoria’s trainer, Patrick Murphy, uses a stability ball for many of her exercises.) and Bosu Ball (Get them on Amazon). This equipment works your abs (core), by forcing you to balance yourself properly. While you work the rest of your body, the wobbling ball is underneath, sculpting your abs without you knowing it.
Eva Longoria uses a Bosu ball for wood choppers, squats, and hammer curls. Eva Longoria also uses 8 lb. dumbbells (Amazon) and a medicine ball. On her lunges, Eva often holds a medicine ball, and does a ‘twist’ at the end. When looking at this workout, find a weight that is right for you. If you have all the equipment you need at home, you won’t even have to go to the gym.
Eva Longoria does a cardio warm up. Even if you hate cardio, you have to do something that gets your heart pumping. After your heart rate is elevated for awhile, your body goes into ‘fat burning’ mode. This is when you burn calories by lifting and doing fast-paced circuits.
About her workout, Eva Longoria says:
Now, I like weight training and abs. I hate the elliptical. I hate jogging. I despise cardio, so I try to do my cardio within the workout.
