Beyonce Workout Details

Beyonce is proud of what she has accomplished with her workout. For the bicep curls into shoulder press, the Beyonce workout uses 5 pound dumbbells. Sometimes, she carries on doing bicep curls through an entire song! Beyonce says about her workout:

I keep sit ups interesting by doing them on the ball. I do a lot of things with little weights. I’ll put on a song that I really like and I’ll do 5-pound weights for the duration of the song. I’ll just try to burn out.

Often times, Beyonce is out of town. When she can’t meet with her trainer, she has to improvise. Beyonce sticks to what she can do anywhere. In the hotel room, she often does 100 body weight squats, and lunges. Beyonce also loves to run stairs, when away from the gym.

Beyonce is also a fan of forearm planks. Beyonce says she tries to hold herself up for a minute at a time. Beyonce says:

I try to hold my body weight for a minute on my toes and hands. I can do 10 push ups at a time. I’m actually very proud of that, because I could never, ever, ever do one. And, I do a lot of lunges and squats.

Beyonce Workout Motivation

Of course, the Beyonce workout is inspired by music. She always has a playlist ready to go when she’s training, for workout motivation. Beyonce also likes that she can do the workout anywhere. You can perform all of the exercises in the Beyonce workout at home. At-home workouts are great, because you have no excuses. All you need is a set of dumbbells, possibly some resistance bands, and maybe even a Bosu or Stability Ball.

For motivation, Beyonce hops on the treadmill with a cool secret. She puts one of her Grammy awards in front of her. As she imagines winning another, Beyonce knows she wants to be in perfect shape. So, she run for at least 30-45 minutes with nothing but her Grammy, favorite songs, and winning in mind.

In addition to all her workouts, Beyonce also has to do a lot of dancing. This is another great way Beyonce stays in shape. Beyonce is famous for saying that when getting ready for a music video, she is often doing 9 hours of dancing a day. In heels!
