An at home cardio workouts is a great way to stay in shape. Resistance training, while doing cardio, makes your workout much more effective. Start with Day 1 here, then move onto the next one in the circuit. With an At Home Cardio Workout, you don’t need to go to a gym.

Plus, the weather outside simply doesn’t matter. You have no excuses. Go ahead and focus on form, as you do each exercise. Do at least one round. Depending on your fitness levels, you can do more. Over time, you want to increase how many cardio rounds you can go. Always be striving to get better.

It’s good to get your heart rate up before starting this workout. Here’s a Super-Easy Warm-up workout to get your heart rate going.

Each round lasts for 50 Seconds, followed by 10 Seconds of rest. Then, take one minute off in between rounds.

Side Plank Burpee – Left and Right

Side Plank Burpees involve side to side pushups. Always jump out to the side on each burpee.

Around The World

For this you will need a sandbag, or other weighted object. This will engage your core, as your swing your sandbag or weighted object around your torso. This should work your abs and arms.

Side Lunge Back Lunge Skater’s Lunge

Again, you will want a sandbag or weighted object. For this exercise, you want to lunge to the side, then back behind you, and then finally into a skater’s lunge.

Bear Crawl 4 Jumps

Here, you are doing side jumps, and mixing bear crawls in between. Keep your butt down during this exercise to work your core, glutes, quads, and hamstrings.

Get A Sandbag For Resistance Training

Resistance training makes your cardio workouts much more effective. Use a weight that allows you to maintain proper form. But also make sure you have something that challenges you on each movement.

For an at home cardio workout, you need the proper equipment. Get a sandbag, like the Super Sandbag (from Amazon). If you don’t have access to a sandbag, try to find a suitable object around your house. If you can’t find anything, have Amazon ship a sandbag to your door. It’s worth it!
